Exhibition at The Mall Galleries

I have just arrived back in France after a fabulous few days spent in England attending the Private View of 'Artists of The Year 2019' exhibition at The Mall Galleries. My painting 'In Surrey's Gardens' was one of 50 shortlisted paintings to be selected for the show.

The evening was also an award ceremony for winners in the competition where there were several prizes on offer. Alas I wasn't one of the lucky winners but was delighted to have my image chosen for the invitations and was honoured to have my work exhibited in this prestigious gallery in the heart of London. A wonderful evening was had by all and I met some very interesting and talented artists.

There was a great atmosphere and a real affinity amongst all the exhibitors present. So enjoyable to talk with other artists about their work and the 'artistic life'.

A really good turn-out and an interesting and diverse show. Now back to reality and time to get on with some new paintings, feeling really inspired!
